The most common classes of traffic barricades consist of types I, II, III, and A-Frame. These typically function to block off a section of road or walkway from vehicles or foot traffic.
Type III Barricades
White / Orange barricades can be used for road closures. Three boards covered with reflective sheets on both sides.
TYPE III STREET BARRICADE
This Type III barricade is ideal for detours and closing and other types of traffic control. In situations where high intensity winds are anticipated, weights or sand bags are added to secure the device.

A-FRAME STREET BARRICADE
A-frame barricades consist of a pair of A-shaped legs and at least 1 reflective barricade board. They’re often used to designate safe working distances from ongoing event setup work, as well as crowd control.

A-FRAME TYPE I BARRICADE
A-Frame barricades that fold open so that they can stand independently and fold up accordingly to cushion an impact. This one-piece barricade makes placement and transportation simple and quick. Features a built-in handle for easy placement, two built-in holes to secure a barricade light, two filling holes for sand, and a sandbag bar for extra ballast. Type I barricades have one reflective board and are often used for road detours, road closing, and other types of traffic control.
