LANE CLOSED
The Lane Closed sign shall be used in advance of that point where one or more through lanes of a multi-lane roadway are closed. For a single lane closure, the Lane Closed sign shall have the legend Right (Left) Lane Closed Ahead. The Lane Ends symbol sign may be used to warn drivers of the reduction in the number of lanes for moving motor vehicle traffic in the direction of travel on a multi-lane roadway.
